Odnoklassniki launches new advertising format with call-to-action buttons
Odnoklassniki now has a new format for video ads – clickable video clips with active CTA buttons. This format will guide users towards calls and online orders, promote mobile applications and increase traffic to the sites.
By clicking a video clip or a button in the ad, users will be able to get to the website or the application store, make a call or contact the company writing a message in their OK page. A video advertisement can have a CTA button with one of 11 types of button texts, like “Go,” “Install,” “Contact,” “Call.” When requested, advertisers can create buttons with their own texts.
Semyon Boyarsky, Odnoklassniki's business development manager, noted that video advertising in OK is a growing trend, in 2016 its revenue more than doubled, and this new format will be useful for those brands that evaluate campaigns’ efficiency by calls, conversions, and installations.
Clickable ads are displayed on the desktop and mobile versions of the social network, as well as in its iOS and Android applications. This will enable users to make a call or go right to the app page in AppStore or Google Play just by one click.
