Odnoklassniki group administrators now have the opportunity to promote posts with any type of content, including videos, photos, and links, and pay for this with a card within the social network. To do this, they need to create a note, or use the already published one and click the “Promote” button.
The new system allows targeting by age, gender, interest, income, and geography. Also, publications can be shown to non-group members only or be available to all the audience. In the near future, super-geo targeting setting will appear in the system, which will target ads at local audiences living or working in a specific area.
Odnoklassniki has recently developed a whole ecosystem for business and groups. Within the social platform, groups can create showcases with goods and services, additional services for subscribers on the applications platform, chatbots for communicating with customers, and they can use any of the dozens of the advertising formats available. The native advertising platform is the next step of the development, which will allow small businesses and thematic communities to place ads with any budget.
The new tool is already available to owners and administrators of all groups. The promoted posts will be cross-platform and displayed on all devices: in desktop and mobile versions of Odnoklassniki, as well as in its iOS and Android apps.
